As a pre-licensed clinical psychology intern, Monika Diaz possesses a profound dedication to enhancing mental health care. Understanding the brain as one of the most vital organs, Monika advocates for heightened awareness and accessibility of mental health services.

 Specializing in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), a pioneering approach developed by Albert Ellis, Monika is committed to aiding individuals in navigating their emotional challenges and fostering a path towards healing and growth. Believing firmly in the power of collaboration, Monika engages clients in crafting therapeutic plans that are not only tailored to their unique needs but also empower them to play an active role in their mental health journey.

 With extensive experience working across the lifespan, Monika has worked with children ranging from 3 to 17 years old and their parents, as well as adults aged 18 to 65. This broad spectrum of work underscores a versatile and compassionate approach to therapy, capable of addressing a wide range of mental health needs. Additionally, Monika has carved a niche in addressing workplace traumas, with a focus on researching the impacts of toxic environments on mental health. This work highlights a commitment to improving well-being in all facets of life.

 Currently on the cusp of completing a doctoral degree, Monika is diligently working on the final chapters of a dissertation that explores the intersections of toxicity in the workplace and its effects on mental health. With aspirations to earn the title of Dr. Diaz by May of this year, Monika’s academic and professional journey embodies a deep-seated commitment to advancing the field of psychology and making a lasting impact on the lives of those seeking mental health support.
